"Signs of Success"
Poster Session
Reserve your easel by
October 17, 2009
The Washington State School Directors' Association is inviting
all 295 school districts across the state to participate in the
second annual "Signs of Success” poster session at this year's
Annual Conference in Spokane.
To take part, simply create and submit a poster illustrating
your district’s favorite success story. The success can be large
or small — no achievement is insignificant, as long as your
district wants to share it and celebrate it with others.
The posters will be displayed for the duration of the Conference
to showcase the outstanding ideas, achievements and programs
taking place in our public schools.
To participate, follow these simple steps:
-
Create your
poster on a 20” x 30” sheet of foamcore board.
-
Include the
district name and contact information (name, position, phone
number, e-mail address) in a 3” x 5” space in the lower-right
front corner of the poster.
-
Reserve your
easel for the “Signs of Success” display by Oct. 17, using
either of the following methods:
-
Send the completed poster to WSSDA's Connie Lauderdale at: 221
College Street NE, Olympia, WA, 98516. If you choose to send the
poster, WSSDA will deliver it to the Conference; or
-
Send a
digital photograph of the completed poster to
Connie Lauderdale. If you choose to send a
photo, you are responsible for delivering the poster to the
Conference Registration Desk immediately upon your arrival in
Spokane.
- Relax and enjoy the Conference. Your poster will be displayed
for all to see, as you enjoy the many learning and networking
opportunities.
- Before leaving the Conference, pick up the poster from its
display site and bring it home with you. WSSDA is not
responsible for any unclaimed posters.
