Directors meeting: Aug. 25-27, 2006

The Board of Directors of the Washington State School Directors’ Association will hold its next meeting
Aug. 25-27 at the Red Lion Hotel in Port Angeles. The meeting will begin at
2:00 p.m. Friday (Aug. 2) and conclude approximately 10:30 a.m. Sunday
(Aug. 27).
This is the Board's annual retreat. Items on the agenda include:
Consideration of proposed resolutions to be submitted to the National School
Boards Association;
Initial review of the WSSDA budget for 2007;
A presentation on the Baldrige model for enhancing organizational
performance;
A discussion about updating the WSSDA Strategic Plan;
Consideration of PaySchools as a potential WSSDA service;
A presentation from Superintendent of Public Instruction Terry Bergeson; and
Annual reports and updates from the chairs of WSSDA's committees and task
forces.
