| Coming soon: WSSDA
Fall Regional Meetings
Posted August 8, 2007
Mark your calendar now for WSSDA's next round of Regional
Meetings, scheduled to take place Sept 10 to Oct. 18 in 12 locations
throughout the state. These meetings provide a valuable opportunity
for school board members to discuss current education issues, exchange success stories,
prepare for the 2008 legislative session, and get to know other school directors from around the region.
Regional Meetings were established in 2000 by WSSDA’s Board of
Directors to improve opportunities for dialogue, networking and
information-sharing among WSSDA members. These meetings increase the
association’s ability to deliver comprehensive, accurate and timely
information on education issues to its members.
What topics are on your mind? Bring your questions and concerns to the meeting, and get instant feedback from your peers during the open discussions and networking times. Or, send your ideas in advance to your
WSSDA Board of Directors representative. All weekday meetings, which include dinner, are scheduled from 6 to 8:30 p.m., and all Saturday meetings, which include lunch, are scheduled from 10 am to 1 p.m. Registration is required, and there is a charge for the meal.
