Directors meeting: June 27-28, 2008

The Board of Directors of the Washington State School Directors’ Association will hold its next meeting on
Friday and Saturday, June 27-28, at the WSSDA Conference Center in
Olympia. The meeting will begin at
7:00 p.m. Friday and resume Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
Items on the agenda include:
Review and approval of the final recommendations of the WSSDA Student
Achievement Task Force ;
A briefing on the work of the Full Funding Coalition, including information
on the Coalition's presentation to the Basic Education Finance Joint Task Force;
Evaluation of WSSDA's superintendent search service and consideration of
search consultant contract renewal;
Approval of the work plan developed for implementation of the WSSDA 2008-11 Strategic Plan;
Continued review of possible updates to the WSSDA Policy Manual;
Review of the 2007 WSSDA Spring Regional Meetings.
