Annual Conference Lodging

WSSDA 2020 Annual Conference

WSSDA has negotiated great room rates for conference attendees, including some rooms at the prevailing government per diem rate. We have large blocks at the Davenport Grand and the Double Tree Hotel, which are both connected to the convention center by a sky bridge. Be sure to book early!

Booking information

Registration for the annual conference is required before booking a room.
  • Your registration confirmation will include a link to the hotel reservation site. All rooms must be secured with a credit card but will not be charged at the time of booking.
  • Please be sure to print the confirmation email and save it for your records. It will include the hotel’s cancellation requirements.
  • Depending on availability and after the group rate cut-off date of Friday, October 16, reservations are on a space-available basis. The special conference rate is at the discretion of the hotel.

Paying by credit card

  • A School District Procurement ‘P’ Card or personal credit card is needed to book a room.
  • No payment will be charged, prior to your arrival, to the credit card used to make your reservation. However, if you are a “no-show,” or cancel less than 24 hours prior to arrival, the card used to book the room will be charged one night’s stay.
  • If you are paying by credit card, but the cardholder will not be onsite for the conference, please reach out to the hotel’s accounting department (numbers above) to ask for their credit card authorization form.

Paying by check

Your district may use a business check to prepay hotel rooms, up to 4 weeks prior to the conference—by Friday, October 23rd. Hotels can allocate monies from a single check to multiple reservations should your school district prefer to send in one check for several attendees.

Be sure to include the following information on all check payments:
