November 18-20 are three of the best days of the year to be a school director. WSSDA’s Annual Conference is specifically designed to support your board in the vitally important work you do for the 1.2 million K-12 students in Washington state.
The conference offered in a hybrid format to make attendance convenient for you. This means you have the option of attending in-person at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue or virtually from anywhere. Either way you attend, you will also have access to conference content for several months to access a breakout session you missed or rewatch an inspiring keynote speaker.
In-person attendance is limited to 800 to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests. Currently, that limit has been reached and in-person registration is paused until circumstances allow us to offer that option again.
Registration for virtual attendance is open and includes the option to be added to a waitlist for in-personal attendance. We will notify all waitlisted registrants by mid-October if capacity allows attendance in-person.
Please note that pre-conference workshops are only available in-person. You may attend an in-person pre-conference workshop even if you attend the rest of the conference virtually as long as capacity is available.
The three pre-conference workshops offer an opportunity to deeply explore issues important to your role as a school leader. These sessions include expert speakers, panelists and active engagement. For more information about each workshop, please see our pre-conference workshop page.
Please note that pre-conference workshops and the Open Government Training are only available for in-person attendees.
All pre-conference workshops run from 11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with with a grab-and-go lunch provided.
These rates apply for both virtual or in-person attendance and include virtual access to conference content into 2022. On-site attendance is currently limited to 800 attendees, subject to potential change as health and safety conditions dictate.
