General Assembly: Know before you go

General Assembly: Know before you go

How the virtual Assembly works

The 2021 General Assembly will occur virtually using the Lumi platform. The video below demonstrates how to use the platform.

How to share voting credentials within your board

If you would like to pass the credential to another member of your school board, it is easy to do so. The delegate should simply log out, let their colleague know they are out, then their fellow board member can log in using the voting delegate’s credentials. The original delegate can return by repeating the process with their colleague to recover the ability to vote and speak on behalf of their board.

Before the assembly, don’t forget to:

  1. Review the handbook.
  2. Sign up for our webinar series that will include an orientation to General Assembly on Sept. 14.
  3. Review WSSDA’s existing positions
  4. Hear from legislators and topic-area experts by watching our recorded webinar series
  5. Review recent issues of our Interim publication
